Summary

Fieldwalking in the 1960s and 1970s recovered a number of prehistoric flakes, blades and scrapers from this field. Pottery sherds from the Middle Saxon to post medieval periods were also discovered, along with at least two concentrations of Neolithic flints and at least two concentrations of pot boilers.

OS field 173.

1960s - 1970s. Fieldwalking.
Fieldwalking in the 1960s and 1970s recovered a number of prehistoric flakes, blades and scrapers from this field. Pottery sherds from the Middle Saxon to post medieval periods were also discovered, along with at least two concentrations of Neolithic flints and at least two concentrations of pot boilers.
