Name:Prehistoric flints, Early Bronze Age, Roman, and Late Saxon to post medieval pottery sherds

Summary

During the 1960s and 1970s a number of medieval and post medieval pottery sherds were recovered, as well as prehistoric flint flakes and scrapers, and a Neolithic axehead fragment. Roman and Late Saxon to early medieval pottery sherds have also been recovered, as well as a number of 'overfired bricks' and kiln debris fragments. In 1980 an excavation recovered a number of Early Bronze Age pottey sherds, as well as a Late Saxon pottery sherd and sherds form the medieval and post medieval periods. The excavation also recovered flint objects, including a core and an arrowhead.
