Full description

January 1958. Stray Find.
Dug up in a garden between mill and house (east of Mill House) in water main trench (2 feet [60cm] deep and 60cm wide):
2 Roman pottery sherds. Large rim sherds from bowl or jar in light grey ware, probably early 2nd century. See drawing (S1).
