It is recorded that a Bronze Age spearhead with a socket with two rivet holes was recovered from the parish of Weeting with Broomhill and is now in the Cambridge University Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography. The exact date and location of this discovery are unclear.

Type V spearhead with socket two rivet holes, midrib damaged 150mm long.
