Summary

A possible Bronze Age barrow cemetery exists on Garboldisham Heath. One round barrow survives (NHER 6112), one has been destroyed (NHER 6113) and two possible round barrows are recorded (NHER 10290 and 14423).

Full description

A possible barrow cemetery on Garboldisham Heath.
It includes a surviving barrow (NHER 6112) and the site of a destroyed barrow (NHER 6113). It could include a possible round barrow recorded on 19th century maps (NHER 10290) and a ring ditch recorded on aerial photographs (NHER 14423).
The area surrounding the surviving barrow may have been disturbed during gravel quarrying and by military activity during World War One.
