January 2006. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of four sections of curvilinear drainage ditches or channels, of possible medieval date, are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These earthworks are centred on TG 4563 0640 in an area of former marshland. The date of these features in uncertain, but it is possible that they are medieval. It is likely that they originated as natural channels and may have later been incorporated into the surrounding drainage pattern.
