Full description

August 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A cropmark of a ring ditch, possibly a Bronze Age round barrow or Iron Age roundhouse is visible on aerial photographs (S1) and (S2). This cropmark is located at TG 5042 1269. The ring ditch is defined by a narrow ditch and has a 10m diameter. Two breaks present in the west and south sides of the ditch are possibly entrances. It is possible that this ring ditch relates to a small Bronze Age round barrow or a roundhouse of Iron Age date. It is located at 10m OD on the side of a small southwest facing valley.
J. Albone (NMP), 26 August 2005
