April 2005. Norfolk NMP.
A possible World War Two spigot mortar emplacement is visible on aerial photographs within an area of grassland to the rear of the dunes in-between North Gap and Castle Farm, Eccles-on-Sea. The emplacement is centred on TG 4155 2854 and consists of a 1m wide concrete thimble, within a 3m diameter circular pit.
