Full description
Pair of cottages (not certain if intended to be one or two houses) designed as eyecatcher to Holkham Park. 1801 by Samuel Wyatt. Octagonal, two storeys. Each elevation has tripartite casement with glazing bars in round headed recess. (S1) says that entrance door is probably a later insertion, leaving one to speculate how the occupants originally gained entry.
E. Rose (NLA), 29 April 2003.
Previously numbered as NHER 1802 context 6.
