Full description
26 August 2003. Visited.
Former village hall, now used as garage workshop.
Remarkable early 20th century building in the school of Voysey. Barrel roof presumably of concrete; end wall to west painted white with red brick arched course above large door. On north, tall tapering chimney, almost detached, of typical Voysey style; in poor condition. Voysey worked in Norfolk and if this is not by him it must be a local imitator.
Non listed building in conservation area.
E. Rose (NLA), 29 August 2003.
