Summary
Metal detecting in this area during 2003 recovered an Early Saxon copper alloy cruciform brooch. The brooch had a facetted bow with two longitudinal grooves and a facetted foot with an animal head terminal.

Full description
January/February 2003. Metal detecting.
Early Saxon copper alloy cruciform brooch, small rectangular head plate with narrow wings, attached full round top knob, side knobs missing, single lug with corroded fragment of spring. Facetted bow with two longitudinal grooves, facetted foot with animal head terminal, catch plate on reverse, 8 x 67mm.
Aberg group I, 5th century.
