In 1997 a small flint blade with a broken tip was found somewhere on Shouldham Warren. This blade was dated to the Mesolithic period.

Full description

1997. Stray Find.
Found on Shouldham Warren (a large area of woodland plantations centred at TF 677 110):
1 small blade, broken at tip, patinated greyish white. No secondary working.
Form and condition suggests a Mesolithic date.
This discovery was reported in (S1).
