The post medieval seabank, running along the parish boundary between Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea, can be seen on NLA oblique aerial photographs from 1974 (S2-3). It runs from NGR TF9023 4382 to TF9026 4440. It is now a raised farm track. This was sketch plotted from the aerial photographs and the OS 1:10000 (revised 2000) base map (S4). As the bank is now used as a farm track which is included on the basemap there is no problem with accuracy.
H. Clare (NMP), 11 November 2002.
