Summary

Metal detecting and fieldwalking recovered a wide range of objects dating from the prehistoric to the post medieval period. These include prehistoric worked flints, Roman, medieval and post medieval coins, pieces of Roman, medieval and post medieval pottery, a medieval or early post medieval copper alloy buckle frame, a post medieval lead cloth seal and two post medieval jettons.

Full description

Mid Jan 2001. East Norfolk Metal Detecting Club.
?Late medieval/early post medieval copper alloy buckle frame.
Thin, flat sectioned, broken and corroded, double-rectangular with one surviving triangular outside edge, narrowed entral bar projects beyond frame. Pin missing. 21(at least) x 23mm.
