During 2000 a World War Two pillbox was discovered at this location during the STANTA Survey. The pillbox was in rough ground and semi-sunken with two wide loops just above ground level. A grass mound existed atop the roof.

2000. Discovered during STANTA Survey.
In rough ground, World War Two pillbox.
Slides show a semi sunken structure, with two wide loops just above ground level. Grass mound extant on roof.
