Full description
Terrace of early 19th century cottages now restored and listed (S1).
Construction included clay used in place of mortar and complete branches in walls.

Brick cottages, some plastered, end one now cement rendered. Pantile roofs. One formerly an inn. Large chimneystacks. Roof levels vary.

A detailed examination of this building revealed that the eastern part of the house is an addition. This building dates from the 17th century, and upstairs a rare surviving upper cruck is visible.
