Fieldwalking in this area during 2000, as part of the STANTA Survey, recorded a World War Two pillbox. The pillbox was found to be a semi-sunken structure, with one wide loop just above ground level. A grass mound existed atop the roof.

World War Two pillbox.
Slide shows a semi-sunken structure, with one wide loop just above ground level. Grass mound extant on roof. Paired with NHER 35826?
