Summary

Metal detecting at this site over the period of 2000-03 recovered a range of multi period metal objects. The finest finds were a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead fragment and two undated gold finger rings.

Gold ?finger ring (see above) found 7 March 2002, disclaimed as Treasure, and rejected by [2] and by several specialists at British Museum as not being of 'their periods'.
