The metal finds include a Roman furniture fitting; Late Saxon bridle cheek pieces; a Late Saxon to post-medieval lead weight and spindle whorl; a medieval buckle, brooch, Jew's harp, spur, harness pendant, and seal matrices; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments, lead weight, knife handle and lead stylus or writing lead and a post-medieval thimble, mount, strap fitting and harness mount.

Map provided by Kate Sussams shows a larger area was metal detected than previously thought (Field to East of Mill Hill Home probably NOT searched. No finds reported from there but field outlined in red on map).
All finds recorded in field to West of Mill Hill Home were made in south and east parts.
