Summary

An Iron Age coin, Roman coins, brooches, including a silver crossbow brooch, an armlet, and Roman pottery, a pair of Early Saxon tweezers, Middle Saxon pins, pottery and hooked tags, and Late Saxon brooches, a strap end and pottery, medieval and post medieval coins and metalwork, including brooches and buckles, and medieval and post medieval pottery, found by metal detecting over a number of years. The Roman finds recovered from this site suggest that it is an area of Roman settlement.
