Full description

Bell barrow about 46m (150 feet) in diameter, in plantation. Grinsell's no. 2.
R.R. Clarke (NCM). (Not one of those ploughed in 1941).

Outer bank undetected. Ditch 2m wide, 1m deep, berm 3m wide, mound 50m in diameter, 4m high. Depression in centre due to looting in about 1970. Covered in bushes in planation.

November 1983. No change, well preserved, but height nearer 3m than 4m. Ditch has irregular plan with almost right angle in northeast corner; presumably a recent alteration.

Good ditch and outer bank visible. Several large oaks and smaller conifers on mound. Much dead wood litters site. Parallel banks noted nearby. Site form in file.
