Summary
Metal detecting in 1997 and 1999 to 2000 recovered a large number of medieval and post medieval metal objects and coins, including an exceptional medieval gilded cast copper alloy openwork buckle plate. Roman coins and Late Saxon metal work was also recovered.

Full description
1997. Area searched by group of American metal detectorists on Discovery Tours holiday organised by member of the public. [1]. This activity overlaps on the cropmarks NHER 19662.
Roman coin and brooch.
Medieval and post medieval coins and metalwork.
