Summary
Fieldwalking and metal detecting in this area during the period 1997-2004 recovered a variety of multi-period objects and pottery sherds. Finds of note included a gilt medieval horse harness pendant, a medieval lead ampulla with a crowned ‘W’ motif and a penny of Charles I (1625-49).
