Common spigot mortar base gun emplacement, situated about 50m northwest of ruined pill box (NHER 16006).

Possible trace of spigot mortar emplacement visible on 1952 RAF aerial photographs (S1) at TG 0856 4421. A circular feature 1m in diameter is visible, although it is not particularly clear. It is next to a rectangular structure, possibly a pillbox or similar defensive position (part of NHER 27810).
