A World War Two pillbox set into the bank of the sea wall. The pillbox is associated with another pillbox nearby, NHER 12656, and aerial photographs taken in 1945 show both of them surrounded by a barbed wire enclosure, NHER 27856.

Quite rare, type 20/2 pill box north of NHER 12656 on other side of old railway line.

Set into the bank of the sea wall. Remains of earth camouflage mound on top. Otherwise as before.
