Summary

Metal detecting in 1996 recovered Saxon strap ends, a medieval finger ring, medieval buckles and a seal matrix. A fieldwalking survey undertaken in 2010 recovered medieval and post-medieval pottery and an assemblage of struck flint of Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date including flakes, blades and scrapers.

Found in area centred at [1] (now Context 1):
Middle Saxon strap end.
Late Saxon strap end.
Medieval finger ring, buckles, seal matrix.

January-May 2010. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey of proposed development area (Field 6).
The survey revealed medieval and post-medieval pottery and an assemblage of struck flint of Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date including flakes, blades and scrapers.
