This is the site of a group of ring ditches, one of which is a double concentric ring ditch, probably dating to the Bronze Age, and visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs.

Full description

28 June 1990. NAU air photography.
Ring ditch.
D. Edwards (NAU).

26 June 1996. NLA air photography.
An additional 3 ring ditches can be identified, one of which is co-joined to the original ring ditch.
A possible fourth new example may be loacted to the north, although it is small and very faint.
A linear fetaure appears to abut up to the co-joined ring ditch.
Also 3 shorth stretches of ditch can be seen, having the appearance of an interrupted ditch.
