Metal detecting in 1993 and 1998 recovered a small number of Roman, medieval and post medieval objects. This included a Roman bow brooch and a 19th century spoon bowl.

Full description

1993. Metal detector finds.
Late medieval bronze book clasp, elaborate terminal.
Post medieval lead fragment. ?What is it? Inner surface decorated with leaf scrolls
Identified as a 19th century spoon bowl with central rib.
