Summary

Sporadic metal-detecting between 1993 and 2016 recovered a Roman coin as well as Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman brooch and globular furniture fitting; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval silver unidentfied object fragments, copper alloy stud, lead pot mend and writing lead; a medieval/post-medieval thimble and post-medieval crotal bells, a saddle pommel cap, saddle pommel fragment, finger ring and hooked fitting for sword belt attachment.

Medieval gilded buckle plate (openwork figure-of-eight) and rectangular slots.
Early post medieval hooked fitting for sword belt attachment (convex disc with lobed projection with rivet opposite hook).
Early post medieval buckle and triangular pin rest, and lobes at corners.
16th/17th century hooked tag with cast rosette in relief.

Medieval buckles, a copper alloy stud, writing lead, strap mount, and 3 fragments of a silver sheet unidentified object, possibly a scabbard chape, with possible niello inlay
