November 1993. At north end of field:
17th century farthing token. See list in file.
Lovely bronze pilgrim badge. St.Barbara with martyr's palm beside her tower. Broken shank on reverse. (S1).
At south end of field:
13th century buckle with ribbed pin rest.

Medieval buckle, pin looped around bar, expanded pin rest with central groove.
Medieval strap end with knobbed terminal and textile inside, single rivet at split end. Bar on reverse. White metal coating.
Early post medieval double-looped buckle frame fragment with lobed pin rest.

Medieval wavy star-shaped bronze brooch (2 loops on reverse broken), like a 'spangle' used to decorate clothes or belts, cf disc with wavy star in (S2) cat.no. 850, but this Norfolk example is of bronze and much classier (photo).
14th century brooch pin, broken loop. Transverse moulding at 'neck' with 3 grooves.

Five medieval coins (including a Sterling imitation).
Three-piece medieval strap end, two outer plates surviving. Rocker arm decoration. Cf. (S3) nos 232-4. Contains fragment of fabric.
Late medieval kidney-shaped buckle (no plate) with engraved diagonal lines cf.(S3) no.147.
Medieval D-shaped buckle (47 x 26mm) with narrow pin bar mostly missing and decorative projection at pin rest.
Medieval D-shaped (elongated) swivel loop with knob terminal.
Two post medieval tokens.
