Full description

February 1993. Found in garden approximately 46cm (18 inches) deep.
Medieval Italian silver coin. Venetian. 13th to 14th century.

1994. Metal detecting in garden.
Medieval buckle plate, gilded bronze (gilding all survives, except on boss), circular plate with two circular pierced lobes on one side and H-shaped lug on other (once folded over to hold pin bar of buckle)! Decorated with central boss with nine-pointed star around and stamped annulets. (See note below).
Medieval bronze seal matrix, faceted handle with suspension loop. Barrel (or lock??) in centre PRIVE SVI (I am private).
