Full description
Barn, timber frame, wattle and daub almost entirely replaced in brick.
Expanded wallposts with wallbracing to plate. Roof has queen posts from tiebeams; the description states there are 'arched braces to the ties above the queen posts' which is hard to visualise. Queenposts have expanded heads. The ties are supported on arched braces from the wallposts. Carpenter's marks remain. Dated as 17th century or earlier.
Stable, with wallplates containing mortises suggesting there was formerly a timber frame. Walls now rebuilt in 19th century brick.
Other buildings are mid 19th century brick, Evans-Lombe estate.
