Full description

1992. Metal detecting and fieldwalking finds.
Iron Age, Roman, Middle Saxon, Late Saxon, medieval, post medieval pottery. Includes Green Glazed Grimston and Staffordshire comb ware.
Clay pipe fragment.
Late Saxon, post medieval metalwork.
Medieval, post medieval coins. See list in file.
Late Saxon openwork circular copper alloy brooch - cross (equal-armed) and central boss, edge decoration with tiny lobes. Lovely! Polaroid in file.
16th century copper alloy double-looped buckle, with beautiful fleur-de-lis cast ornament on pin rests, and at each end of centre bar.
Lead weight. 1 ounce Charles II date (1660-85).
Iron Age terret.
Late Saxon brooch.
