Summary

Fieldwalking here during 1991 recovered sherds of Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval pottery. Subsequent metal-detecting in 1999, 2003 and 2012 recovered Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval jettons and Bronze Age, Roman, Late Saxon, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Bronze Age adze, part of a Roman key, a brooch made from a medieval coin of Henry VII the Count of Luxembourg, medieval lead ampullae and a post-medieval coin weight.

Possibly Late Bronze Age (S1), Roman, possibly Late Saxon, medieval, post medieval and undated metal finds.
