Summary

Fieldwalking and metal detecting recovered finds dating from the Roman and medieval periods. These included twenty Roman coins, a Roman finger ring, two silver medieval pennies and a medieval belt chape spacer plate. Fragments of Roman and medieval pottery were also found. One piece of Samian was stamped by the Roman potter Santianus of Lezoux.

Stamped Samina, SANTIANI O K C. Identified as Santianus of Lezoux.
