Summary

Metal-detecting between 1990 and 2018 has recovered a number of objects dated from the Roman to post-medieval periods, as well as several prehistoric flints. These finds include a Mesolithic flint blade; Roman and post-medieval coins; Roman, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; a Roman harness fitting and a military openwork harness mount; an Early Saxon annular brooch; a stack of Late Saxon fused pennies; medieval pot mends, a copper alloy seal matrix and shearboard hook with ornamental moulding in the centre; medieval/post-medieval cooking vessel fragments, a thimble and padlock case and post-medieval crotal and clapper bells.

1 medieval coin, 1 strap fitting, 1 bar mount, 1 buckle, 1 casket binding strip/mount and 1 strap end.
1 ?medieval buckle, 1 ?buckle and 1 lead spindle whorl.
2 medieval/post-medieval copper alloy rings and 1 bell fragment.
1 post-medieval coins, 1 lead counterfeit coin, 1 token , 4 jettons, 2 belt mounts, 3 buckles, 1 hooked strap fitting, 1 furniture fitting, 1 handle cover, 1 binding strip, 1 spur fragment, 1 stud, 1 toy cannon, 1 lead bird feeder and 1 lead cloth seal.
