Summary
In 1989 a metal detectorist found an undated gold strip. It has a small perforation at one end and is made of 24 carat gold. Although it is undated, it could be Bronze Age, Roman or medieval.

Full description
July 1989. Metal detecting.
Grid reference supplied by finder.
Gold strip, with small perforation at each end. 84mm long by 8mm wide by 0.5mm thick. 4.5 g weight, assayed and found to be pure (24 carat). Undated, but could be Bronze Age, Roman or medieval.
