Summary

Faint marks of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation are visible on 1946 aerial photographs. Metal detecting between 1989 and 2002 recovered some 125 Roman coins, together with a Saxon brooch, two medieval coins, including a rare one from Scotland and a medieval seal matrix.

March 1987
Very low ridge and furrow. Probably continues westwards; very overgrown. Faintly visible on RAF 1946 air photograph. Information from R. Silvester (NAU).
