A moated site is recorded on 19th and early 20th century maps of this site, and is thought to now lie beneath modern farm buildings. This is a probable manorial site, and a farm worker is recorded as remembering an old house being demolished on this site in the past.

Moated site beneath modern farm buildings, west side alone marked on 6 inch Ordancne Survey map, but more complete plan shown on 1925 25 inch map and Utting's map of 1832 at Wisbech Museum. Probable manorial site (S1)
