Metal-detecting in 1990 and between 2005 and 2013 recovered Mesolithic and ?Neolithic worked flints; Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton and Middle/Late Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Middle/Late Bronze Age gold sheet strip; Roman brooches, bracelet fragments and a furniture fitting; Roman/Early Saxon belt loop; an Early Saxon bow brooch; Middle Saxon ansate brooches and pins; a Middle/Late Saxon dress accessories; a Late Saxon earring or finger-ring, a bridle bit or harness fitting and a strap-end; medieval dress accessories, part of a purse frame, an apothecary weight, thimble and a casket key; a medieval/post-medieval pilgrim badge, knife fragments and copper alloy vessel fragments and post-medieval dress accessories, harness mounts, a thimble, a toy whirligig or buzz disc and part of a knife with an faint engraving of St Christopher and Jesus on it.

One base and one bodysherd Ipswich pimply ware; one rim Early medieval ware; 1 rim medieval unglazed ware; 4 bodysherds probably all medieval unglazed wares.

2 Late Saxon coins, 13 pottery sherds (Thetford type), 1 strap end, 1 finger ring, 1 finger/ear ring and 1 harness fitting/bridle bit knobbed loop.
1 ?Late Saxon copper alloy weight (S2).
1 Late Saxon/medieval mount.
16 medieval coins, 9 pottery sherds (6 unglazed and 3 glazed Grimston), 20 buckles, 5 strap ends (one drawn (S3)), 2 strap loops, 4 bar mounts, 2 strap fittings, 1 mount, 1 casket key, 1 knife end cap, 1 purse-frame pendent loop, 1 padlock, 1 lead spindle whorl and 1 lead pot mend.
1 medieval/post-medieval pilgrim badge, 1 copper alloy ring and 3 copper alloy vessel fragments.
5 post-medieval coins, 1 jetton, 5 buckles, 1 button, 1 copper alloy scale from knife, 1 thimble, 1 harness mount and 2 lead trade weights.
1 undatable copper alloy unidentified object.
