Full description
Gun position World War Two.
Large subrectangular concrete structure with gun position to west. Now flooded.
Visited by E. Rose (NAU) April 1987.
Grid reference correction from 1:25,000 Ordnance Survey.

Unique, type 28 chamber for anti tank gun with a separate chamber built on to one side. Standard depth, but 28 inches wider than normal. Exceptional workmanship.

Pillbox plotted from 1946 RAF verticals aerial photographs (S2). Type 28 pillbox, approximately 8m square, with additional chamber adjoining to the west, approximately 4m by 2.5m. his structure is associated with other anti tank pillboxes and tank blocks to the north, SMR 23515 & 32385.
