Full description
1935. Stray Find.
Found around 20ft O.D. 30 yds [27m] west of main road and west of Post Office, about half way between 'Bull' Inn and farm to north (site marked on Ordnance Survey).
Two fragments of Bronze Age "developed Food Vessel type (funerary urn) (1600-1400 Fox)".
Found by P. L. K. Schwabe, and I. J. Thatcher.
On east edge of surface flint site.
Several joining rim sherdswere donated to the British Museum (1937,0504.17) - see sketch (S1). A '?Food Vessel sherd' was also donated to the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1946.164.24).

The sherds held by the British Museum has now been identified as being from a Collared Urn and are amongst those described and illustrated in (S3).
