Summary
Fieldwalking has recovered prehistoric pot boilers and Beaker flints from this site, which is on a sand hill next to the Little Ouse roddon. The finds suggest that this is a Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age or Beaker occupation site, one of a number of such sites identified along the Little Ouse roddon.

(S1) and (S3) identify this site, HCW 87, as a Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age or Beaker occupation site, on the north bank of the Little Ouse roddon. (S1) notes that during the Late Neolithic to Early Bronze this site, which stands on a sand hill in the peat, would have been at the very edge of the water, if not an island.
