Full description
Spring 1982. Stray Find.
From field edge along north side wood:
1 Neolithic/Bronze Age part polished flint axehead. Plano-convex section and subtriangular outline with pointed butt and slightly convex cutting edge. Made on a flake, much of the unretouched bulbar surface of which remains on the flatter face of the axe. Of a similar form to some unpolished axes made at industrial sites including Grimes Graves.
