Full description

1983 to 1984. Hales Survey site 112
Field south of present Hales village.
Finds from upper (north) part field, stubble, surface not very good. Lower part field, removed beet with good surface, produced nothing.
4 sherds prehistoric wares.
1 jar rim, 2 sherds medieval unglazed.
2 sherds medieval glazed.
2 flowering plant container sherds.
1 glass vessel fragment, brown with external white decoration; date? 2 stoneware ('1 piece saltglaze after ploughing'on plan).
