Full description
Defensive structure?
Brick shed with concrete roof; rectangular, no windows, door to west.
Two slits with sliding metal shutters to east.
Resembles a Home Guard type of pillbox but is very near to conventional pillbox NHER 20339 towards which the slits point.

A surviving World War Two structure, possibly a Home Guard shelter, is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3). The grid reference for this structure has been amended to TG 4259 0696. The structure is rectangular in plan with a flat concrete roof. It is possible that it is a Home Guard shelter, but this is not certain. It lies 94m to the west of a Type 22 pillbox (NHER 20339).

The base of a demolished blast wall is visible just outside the door to the west.
The building is currently in use as a horse shelter.
