Full description

1 April 1984.
Well weathered plough soil but part harrowed; site may run into this on west.
Spread medieval pottery sparse to moderate 40 x 29m. Very small amount animal bone, no shell.
Post medieval material represented by brick and building rubble, sparse; slag and glass very sparse, no more than would be expected close to farm. Close to possible fields, showing clearly on air photograph, probably a small farming community close to Ouse.
R. Silvester (NAU) 1 April 1984.
