Summary

Aerial photography from 1978 recorded the cropmarks of a sub-rectangular enclosure, possibly double ditched on the south side, which may be Roman date and related to the village site (NHER 1903). Metal detecting in recent years has resulted in the recovery of a number of Roman coins, as well as lead and copper alloy objects.

This is near to the cropmarks of a Roman building (NHER 1903) and may be an outer yard.
