Summary
Fenland fieldwalking in 1982 recovered sherds of Saxon and medieval pottery along with pieces of vitrified brick. Metal detecting during 1989-2000 recovered a penny of Edward III, a penny of Henry III, a medieval seal matrix and post medieval button.

Context 1.
Scatter of medieval sherds over field. and vitrified brick. Archive adds 2 Middle Saxon sherds. Particularly north half could relate to Context 3.
Context 2 at [1]. About 40m east-to-west x 15m north-to-south approximately 3.1m (10ft) OD.
Scatter medieval pottery mixed with great deal modern trash and one Late Saxon.

Context 3 at [2]. On west facing slope of slightly higher ground, perhaps a roddon. 35m north-to-south x 20m east-to-west, 2.7m (9ft) OD.
Scatter of medieval sherds, sparse and no obvious soil discolouration. Very little pottery recovered from on top of rise. Includes several Late Saxon. Although fair amount modern material.

Cut short cross halfpenny, moneyer Nicole, York mint.
North class 4 or 5, Richard I/John 1194-1210.

'Silver radiate of Valerian, broken'. Not seen NAU, given to landowner.
