Cropmarks of a ring ditch and possible associated enclosure are visible on aerial photographs (S1), centred on TM 0998 9746. The ring ditch measures approximately 19m in internal diameter, and a possible associated enclosure or fragmentary field system is visible to the east, measuring approximately 65m by 33m. This has been recorded separately (NHER 57363).
It is possible that the ring ditch is in fact a stackstand, or other agricultural feature.
E. Bales (NMP), 30 April 2012.
